$5.5 Million Verdict Vaginal Mesh Verdict Upheld

Christine Scott of California suffered serious injuries after having Bard Transvaginal Mesh implanted into her pelvis.  In 2012, a jury returned a verdict in her favor for $5.5 million.  Bard continued fighting her about her injuries from the pelvic mesh by appealing the matter the California appeals court.  The court of appeals did the right thing and rejected Bard’s request that the appeal be heard.

    Bard Transvaginal Mesh is Dangerous!

As we reported earlier on this website, the judge assigned to multi-district litigation against Bard Transvaginal Mesh, Vaginal Mesh, & Bladder Slings warned the medical device manufacturer that it should speak with injured parties’ attorneys about the settlement before allowing the matter to go to trial.  This warning came after a multi-million dollar verdict in favor of a woman injured by the Bard mesh.

The reports we are hearing about damage done by vaginal mesh and bladder slings are sad.  These medical device manufacturers promised relief to these patients (most of whom are mothers) for their pelvic organ prolapse related pain and urinary incontinence.  Instead, the bladder slings and mesh have caused more pain and harm.  We are serious about holding these medical device manufacturers accountable for the injuries they have caused.  Call (770) 727-5550 TODAY to speak with one of our transvaginal mesh lawyers.
