Polaris Victory Motorcycle Recalls
Posted on - Monday, January 12, 2015 under Dangerous Drugs & ProductsOn January 7, 2015, the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (“NHTSA”) issued a recall of certain Victory motorcycles manufactured by Polaris Industries, Inc. The defect causing the motorcycle recall is the fuel pump, which may have insufficient clearance between the fuel pump body and impeller that can interfere with normal fuel pump operation. The danger to the motorcycle rider, motorcycle passenger, and other motorists is that the Victory motorcycle could stall increasing the risk of crashing.
The affected Victory motorcycles are certain model years of various Victory motorcycle models. A list of those models with corresponding model years is below:
