Person Hit by Truck on Interstate 20 in Douglasville

Interstate 20 westbound was closed for a time in Douglasville, Georgia after authorities responded to a car accident involving a person being hit by a truck.  The person was walking along I-20 just east of the Post Road exit when the person was struck by the passenger vehicle.  The interstate was closed down while the car wreck victim was airlifted from the scene.  The cause of the car accident is still under investigation.
