Airbag Recalls for Jeep, Dodge, Honda, Acura, & Toyota

The�National Highway Transportation Safety Administration�issued a massive recall on over 2 million vehicles�for airbag malfunctions in vehicles manufactured by a host of auto manufacturers. �The reason for the recall is that the airbags in these vehicles may inadvertently go off causing injury or a�car accident. �A similar recall was issued by NHTSA late last year. �Pay close attention to the makes, models, & years of the affected vehicles. �If you or a loved one owns one of these vehicles, CONTACT A DEALER IMMEDIATELY!

Vehicles Affected by Airbag Recall

• 2002-2003 Jeep Liberty vehicles manufactured January 9, 2001, to March 28, 2003;
• 2002-2004 Jeep Cherokee vehicles manufactured February 13, 2001, to May 23 2003;
• 2003-2004 Dodge Viper vehicles manufactured November 1, 2001, to June 30, 2004;
• 2003-2004 Honda Odyssey vehicles manufactured February 13, 2002, to August 13, 2004;
• 2003 Acura MDX vehicles manufactured February 21, 2002, to September 23, 2003;
• 2003-2004 Toyota Corolla vehicles manufactured December 28, 2001, to May 2, 2004;
• 2003-2004 Toyota Corolla Matrix vehicles manufactured January 6, 2002, to April 29, 2004;
• 2003-2004 Toyota Avalon vehicles manufactured June 5, 2002, to December 20, 2004; and
• 2003-2004 Pontiac Vibe vehicles manufactured January 18, 2002, to April 27, 2004.

As stated above, the risk is that the front and side airbags in these vehicles will inadvertently deploy. �Many of the vehicles are small SUV�s or minivans; therefore, it is important that you address this situation immediately in order to keep your family safe. �A lot of these cars have been on the road longer than 10 years. �Why are they just now being recalled? �That is for the auto manufacturers to explain.
