Granuflo & Naturalyte Statute of Limitations Fast Approaching

The statute of limitations is fast approaching to file claims for such events associated with dialysis treatments at Fresenius Medical Care.  The Defective Medical Device attorneys of The Parian Law Firm, LLC are still actively filing these cases on behalf of people injured or killed by this product.  If you or a loved one fits the above criteria, CALL (770) 727-5550 to speak to a lawyer.

Fresenius Medical Care is America’ leader in dialysis services.  Granuflo and Naturalyte are brand names of dialysate used by Fresenius Medical care in dialysis treatment to clean the blood of its patients.  On March 29, 2012, the United States Food & Drug Administration issued a Class I recall of the products.  A Class I recall is the most urgent recall issued by the FDA.

The recall was due to proof that Granuflo and Naturalyte were causing an imbalance in the body known as “metabolic alkalosis” that can cause cardiac events and blood clots.  Internal memos have been discovered by attorneys representing people and families affected by Granuflo and Naturalyte which indicate that there was a higher than normal risk of cardiac events and strokes associated with the products. The products were not recalled until those memos were provided to the FDA.
