The Essure Medical Device
The Essure Medical Device consists of flexible coils that are non-surgically placed within the Fallopian tubes. This device is a permanent form of birth control.
Essure’s flexible coils are inserted through the vagina, past the cervix and into the Fallopian tubes. Once inserted, the device causes a build-up of the tissue within the Fallopian tubes.
