    Does RoundUp Cause Cancer?

    Does Roundup Cause Cancer?

The Parian Law Firm, LLC is investigating lawsuits on behalf of farm, agricultural workers and others for the failure to warn about potential cancer risks associated with frequent exposure to Roundup weedkiller. Roundup is the world’s most widely used herbicide for killing weeds and grass.

In early 2015, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer warned that the primary chemical in Roundup was likely a carcinogen. The chemical in question is known as glyphosate.

We are investigating whether Monsanto, Inc., the manufacturer of Roundup, failed to adequately warn people of this potential cancer risk. In sum, we are discovering that Monsanto may have had knowledge more than 40 years ago of the cancer risk.

What Types of Cancers are Being Investigated?
Glyphosate has been linked to several cancers. The types of cancers being investigated include:

    • Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
    • Large B-Cell Lymphoma
    • Follicular Lymphoma
    • Hairy Cell Lymphoma
    • Mantle Cell Lymphoma
    • Burkitt Lymphoma
    • Peripheral Lymphoma
    • Skin Lymphoma

    Who is Most at Risk?

There are many types of agricultural workers across America. Some example of those who may have been exposed to large amounts of Roundup or glyphosate include:

    • Independent Farmers
    • Professional Turf Managers
    • Agricultural Field Workers
    • Groundskeepers
    • Industrial Farm Workers
    • Landscapers
    • Gardeners

What Other Products Have Glyphosate in Them?

Monsanto, Inc. lost protection of its patent on glyphosate in 2000. As with many products, copycats came out of the woodwork. Some herbicides that use glyphosate as the primary ingredient are:

    • Roundup
    • Ortho Groundclear
    • KleenUp
    • Aquamaster
    • Sharpshooter
    • StartUp
    • Touchdown Total
    • Traxion
    • Vector
    • Vantage Plus Max II
